GM Misa Pap’s “Volga Benko Gambit” - Attacking the e4-d5 pawn duo

Opening: A57, A59: Benko Gambit

Player(s): Pap, Rychagov, Miljkovic, Prentic, Rajkovic

We have already seen that with the e6 push, you can undermine the white pawn in the center. Here we are going to dig a bit deeper into that idea, and see how you can fight that center, and sometimes even destroy it, with some additional measures.
Of course, if you manage to destroy the white's center, you will be fine, and very often, black should be even better!
There are several exciting ideas, which I will present in this video. In particular, take a look at my game vs.—Rychagov, who is a strong GM. If a strong GM could come under such pressure in Benko Gambit, with white, almost anybody can!
As we already know, in Volga Gambit, it is all about a mix of several factors, and you should seek and try always to use them combined. If you manage to do that, you will be successful with the black pieces.
