Every Russian Schoolboy Knows: Typical mistakes in early middlegame - Part 5

Opening: A14, B90, B97:

Player(s): Vidit, Wojtaszek, Carlsen, Nakamura, Nepomniachtchi

There's a number of ways your game can go wrong, and among them a very common one is the failure to connect the opening with the middlegame.
Generally speaking, it's always better to play actively, but it's one thing when your active moves are theoretically approved, and another when you find yourself in an unfamiliar territory. Passive play got duly punished in the games presented in Video #5.
