Champions’ Extraordinary Winning Ideas - Video 2 - Capablanca Pieces Isolation

Opening: C49, B04, B22: Four Knigts: Symmetrical variation, Alekhine's Defense: Modern, Sicilian: Alapin

Player(s): Winter, Capablanca, Pap, Jeremic, Jankovic

It's since the time of the great champion Capablanca that we know the technique of piece isolation. What does it mean? The idea is to isolate/bury one of the opponent's pieces in one sector of the board, and then, using that fact, start to play on the other part of the board, and win the game with a piece up. Sounds easy, right? The point is, if you learn this well, you can spot such moments in the game and use that chance for a nice strategic win.
