Improve Your Chess: Zero Increment Time Management

Opening: Bird-Larsen Opening:

Player(s): A01

A training game between a class player and an IM. 30 minutes with zero increment. The class player falls behind on time and never attempts to avoid unnecessary time trouble. The game remains even but the zero increment looms large. Short on time in the endgame the class player finally blunders but by then it did not make any difference; the IM was going to force his flag to fall even if he played perfectly. You can win with checkmate, you can win by running your opponent over on time.
