GM Misa Pap - How to beat the Sicilian Sveshnikov - Video 11: Black plays Bg6

Opening: B33: Sicilian Sveshnikov

Player(s): Azarov, Moiseenko, Velimirovic, Kapnisis, Lie, Jenni, Maeser, Gallagher, Boyd, Berg, Gullaksen

Bg6 line is a serious alternative to the "main" move Be6. When black goes for the Bg6 line, you need to be ready and precisely know what you are doing; otherwise, you might end up in an uncomfortable situation. I believe that white should get his advantage here. Fortunately, I managed to find some good examples where you can see how to handle this line. Also, it's worth noting that there is not much theory in this line, which means that the focus is on your understanding of the middlegame fight.
